Cute Dessert – Brownie Bites

June 15, 2012 by funnyloveblog 2 Comments

Happy two-days-before-fathers-day!

No?  I’m the only one who likes countdowns?

Fine.

In other news, we’re having a Father’s Day brunch for Jay’s dad tomorrow!  His sister Elizabeth and her fiancee Joe are coming in from Ohio and we’re spending as much time together as possible.

It’s gonna be fun!

So, this is what I’d recommend for a fun brunch item.  Brownie Bites!  I use a mix, but you could certainly make your own if you have drive or an aversion to chemicals.

I have neither, so there.

It’s easy!

You just make the brownies like you’re supposed to, and add a cup or so of chocolate chips because, um, they’re good.

You could do nuts or peanuts or coconut or raisins or dried cherries or..a lot of other things, too!

Then, cook the brownie batter in a mini-muffin pan.  Adorbs.  Set a timer for 10 minutes shorter than the brownies are supposed to cook – the cooking process goes a lot faster this way!

The thing with brownie bites is, since they’re smaller you can eat 17 of them.

Instead of 5 brownies.

Anyway.

Have a wonderful weekend, and check back soon for an idea of what to make for Father’s day!
