Happy Father’s Day Weekend again!
Are you cooking for pops? Is he a grill master? Do you often question people incessantly?
Sorry.
Anyway. This is the perfect time of year to make a whole meal full of grilled yumminess – here’s something that would be perfect for a weekend meal outside!
First, make some chimichurri to have on hand, because it goes great with, um, everything.
Then, get steak. Or chicken. Or whatever your dad likes on the grill. With salt, pepper, and olive oil, grill it until you have fabulous grill marks and it’s cooked through but still juicy or as rare (um, just for steak, folks) as you can handle it.
To go alongside, grill some potatoes brushed with butter, too. YES.
And, why not throw together a chopped salad with some pickled onions? DELISH.
If you’re feeling like going overboard, some roasted brussels sprouts would be super delicious with the above-mentioned items.
Or…maybe….baked mac and cheese? YES.
If you aren’t full at the end of all this grub, grab a few brownie bites and catch some fireflies or something else that happened in the 50s before people were busy blogging their lives away.
