Nothing like a really informative article title, is there?
Happy Friday, kids. FINALLY. What a week it’s been! I have a gazillion fun things planned for this weekend while Jay is at the beach, and cooking has already commenced.
Tonight, I’m having school friends over for dinner, which is THE BEST. A lot of therapists all together is just…therapeutic. Everyone’s nice, and passionate, and funny, and caring, and we just have the BEST time together. The friends I’ve made is definitely a huge perk of grad school.
For that, I’m making bacon blue cheese meatballs and roasted tomatoes with crostini as appetizers. For dinner I’m making some kind of sliced chicken with prosciutto and whole garlic cloves – I’ll letcha know how it goes.
Tomorrow, we’re celebrating my mom’s, sister’s, and grandmother’s birthdays. They’re all born within two weeks of each other! My dad and I are making paella, so last night I went ahead and made a whole bunch of stock for it – I love paella.
I’m also making pan con tomate for tomorrow, which is kind of my favorite thing in the world. One sister is bringing champagne, another is making a cake, and we’re going to have ourselves a party.
Sunday will be for recuperating and cooking new things in the sunshine, which is where you come in. What should I make? What are you doing this weekend? What are you cooking? Please tell me – I’d love to know.
