- We got a new blender. Or a blender – we didn’t have one. That’s it up there! We got it for ourselves for Christmas, and I love it so much. I’ve only used it for smoothies so far, and also sometimes I just stare at it and congratulate myself on owning expensive appliances. Fav smoothie recipe recommendations?
- So, one very important tidbit about my return to work on Wednesday: have I ever told you about how our one dog moves his bowls? When we both leave for work he takes his empty bowls around the house. No one knows why. He does this immediately after we leave – on occasion one of us will forget something and go back 90 seconds later, and we’ve caught him bowl-in-mouth looking SO guilty. Anyway, it hasn’t happened in 8 weeks because I’ve been home, but Wednesday sure as shit, the bowls were not where they’re supposed to be when we got home. What IS that?
- Breastmilk bags: Do you have favs? I like the Medela ones because they seem to stand up well but I also really like the Kiinde Twist ones. Interestingly, I don’t pump directly into either of those even though I could – I pump into the bottles that came with my pump and then transfer it because I don’t always pump enough at once to fill a bag. That’s probably weird. Thoughts?
- We’re vaguely spring cleaning, and I keep finding stacks of old CDs. I don’t know how to do anything in this world, and hate to lose music that I’ve purchased. I feel like every time I get a new iPod (yes, I still use one, mainly to teach yoga but I do like having 1 device with everything on it, don’t laugh) I lose half of my stuff, but loading CDs onto a computer is the same issue when I get a new one of THOSE. Where can I keep my CDs in a cloud-type of situation so that they can load onto any subsequent phones/computers/iPods I own? Is that even possible?
- We’re going to Knoxville tomorrow! For ICCA, the first show of the season, rescheduled from two weekends ago when it snowed. Jay and Beck are coming, and I’m so excited for the show, to see the kids perform, and to show off the aca-baby. Then Sunday we’re having lunch with friends in Asheville who are ALSO pregnant, so it’s going to be super duper great.
Hey!
Congrats on the new blender!! I am sure it will come in handy, especially when Beck starts eating baby food.
Can’t help you on your sweet pup, but it sounds harmless. At least he is not eating the couch or the carpet.
Breast pump bags, definitely no help there!
Cloud, I can help with! I dump all my music on iTunes and keep it on the cloud. I also have an IPod I keep everything on, but I also subscribe to match on the cloud. It allows me to use any of my music when I have wifi on my phone without taking up the storage. For those songs I just have to have, I do download on my phone. Since I have a shit ton on music, this helps me with storage issues but also with having access. I think it costs $25.00 a year.
Have fun in Knoxville and Asheville!
