THANKS for not leaving me.
I’m not either! For all of the sarcasm and cynicism and “weddings are way too expensive and it should be about the marriage,” I’m SO glad we spent money on a REAL photographer (who gave us a killer deal, no less). She was worth way more than what we paid, and I’d argue that it was one of the best things we spent money on for our entire wedding.
Other than the booze, obvs.
Three months and 1 day ago, Jay and I made things totes legit so that our dogs wouldn’t be embarrassed of us anymore. It was the best day, and since I know you’re not sick of hearing about it yet we’re going to look at some pictures together, ok?
Actually, we got them two weeks ago.
Then we realized that there were about 9,000, and spent several nights scrolling through them on the couch, drinking wine, and remembering funny details about our wedding. We’re still fully obsessed with the day, and are SO STINKING EXCITED that we have proof that we actually got married.
Besides our memories and marriage license, but whatevs. We have pictures of that too!**
YES YES YES.
Sarah and I are in school together, and we did a photoshoot last week together.
Sarah and Jimmy have been together for 11 years, and married for a decent number of those years. BUT, they’ve never had “real” pictures taken of them. NEVER! That’s not OK, considering how attractive they are.
So, we went downtown and took some dang pictures.
Our friends Addie and Rick got engaged last night!
A total surprise for Addie, which was tough for Rick considering that they 1. picked out the ring together and 2. kind of have already been planning their wedding. It worked, though, and I was the lucky one who knew in advance, so my food-crusted camera was READY.
I love stuff like this.
